That sums up my experience spending last night on the streets of Houston.
Inspired by the Street Church that is held every Thursday night - on the street, where people without a home can get food for their bodies and their souls.
Inspired by the current clients of Covenant House who shared their stories and demonstrated their resilience as they work to build a better life.
Inspired by the staff at the Covenant House who have all answered the call to serve in the most meaningful and impactful way.
Inspired by the people I met who have very little the way of possessions, but make sure those around them get a blanket or food before they do.
Inspired by my dear friend Brady Johnson who consistently does things that make him uncomfortable for the bigger purpose of serving others. Thank you for stepping up to Chair the event this year!
Inspired by my old friends at Hoar Construction who showed up in a big way last night with their talents and their treasure!
