Start Your Journey Here

“Figure out what you love to do—
then find a way to make a living doing it.”

I heard that early in life, but thought it sounded too aspirational.
But nearly three decades later I realized—I’ve been fortunate to do exactly that my whole career.

I love to build.
I started with projects. Then I built teams. Then leaders.
Eventually, I was building entire operating divisions across Texas.
Now, I’m building a business that helps other leaders build theirs—with more clarity, more intention, and maybe even a little more joy.

Because leading a business is like a long, demanding climb.
It’s steep. It’s unpredictable. It can be isolating.
But when you stay the course—when you lead with purpose and courage—you earn the view.
And it’s always worth it.

Two years ago, I started walking alongside founders, owners, and executives who weren’t content to settle.
They were sharp, committed leaders who recognized it was time to work on the business, not just in it.
Some were scaling fast and needed focus.
Some were entering new chapters and wanted to build with intention.
All of them knew that meaningful progress requires fresh perspective—and a guide who’s been up the mountain before.

That’s where the vision for Creative Strategies and Adventures was born.
The name came to life at sunrise on the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro—after a long, slow climb that reminded me-
The journey matters. And the view is earned.

We chose this name intentionally:
“Creative” reflects our belief that leadership solutions should be as unique as the people behind them.
“Strategies” speaks to the power of clear plans and aligned action.
“Adventures” reminds us that leadership isn’t for the faint of heart—it’s a challenge worth embracing, with the right people by your side.

Today, I’m launching something that reflects that journey—a site that shares what we do, how we do it, and why it matters:

www.cre8adventures.com

It captures the heart of our work: strategic clarity, leadership development, succession planning—and the belief that legacy isn’t built by what you achieve, but by who you help grow along the way.

Special thanks to Mallory Ashwander who helped shape years of real-world experience into something clear, compelling, and true.

If you’re leading a company, developing a team, or navigating what’s next—I’d love for you to explore the site.
This isn’t just a website. It’s a trailhead. The adventures await!
